Exmouth Yacht Club is pleased to offer Tackers 1 Learn to Sail - Having Fun.

• Participants need to be water confident and aged 7-12yrs. 
• No prior sailing experience is required.  

Come alone or bring a friend to have fun learning how to sail in pairs.  This course introduces participants to the basics and fundamentals of sailing in a fun environment with activities on and off the water.

Sessions are being run by visiting Australian Sailing qualified instructors who will assist you in building confidence both on and off the water when sailing the EYC club tacker dinghies.   

We encourage all participants to view our instructional videos prior to attending the session.

To register, participants will need to have or obtain a free Australian Saling number.  For new sailors, click here to obtain a number.

All youth sailors must be signed in and out by a parent or legal guardian.

Course Overview
Fun and games at a Tackers Centre for 4-6 year-olds. Little Tackers is run in small groups of no more than 6 participants with close supervision from qualified Tackers Instructors.

• 4-6 years-old

Who should do this course?

This course is designed for 4-6 year-old children wanting to have fun at a Sailing Club and learn basic movement skills learned through play.

Course Outcome

You will gain your Little Tackers completion certificate.
